PTO News, Lower School Campus
As we look to close out our 2009 – 2010 school year, we look back at many accomplishments. We are so thankful for the support of all our Board Members and all of our volunteers.
Our Cookie Dough sale was fantastic. The excitement created was evident with the amount of sales we obtained. We had a strong kick off promotion and all of our students were motivated and it showed in their results.
The highlight of our 3rd trimester is Teacher Appreciation Week. Our theme this year is a Mardi Gras Celebration. This will take place on May 10th – May 14th. This is always a special event for us as we have the opportunity to say “Thanks” to our wonderful and supportive teachers. The events of the week are as follows:
On Monday we will provide breakfast.
Tuesday, we will bring in thank you cards, post its, pens, stamps, etc…
Wednesday, the students will create special messages and pictures there are bound together in a special scrap book, and they will be handed out to all the teachers. The specialists, staff and administration also will receive a gift.
Thursday, each child will bring in one single stem flower for their teacher and the PTO will provide vases to put them in. The specialist, staff and administration also will receive a gift on this day.
We are so proud of the results and dedication of our PTO team for the 2009 – 2010 school year and look forward to next year.
