International Admissions Process
Step 1
Application: Must be filled out completely with both US and foreign addresses for I-20 purposes. A $250 fee must accompany this form. Download application.
Step 2
Report Cards: For middle school students, the last two years report cards fully translated into English is needed. For high school students, all reports cards from 8th grade are required fully translated. Originals MUST accompany the translation. Report cards will then be evaluated by the University of Miami. This will cost between $150 and $300 depending on how much information was translated and how much course information was explained.
Step 3
Letters of Recommendation:
We encourage students to go to our web site and download our teacher recommendation forms and have their Math and Language Arts teachers complete and FAX back to us. An administrator’s recommendation is also required. Letters of recommendations from their current school may also be written in letter form.
After these forms are received and initial acceptance is granted, we will require:

Copy of passport: needed for the I-20 process and for participation in school athletics.
Step 5
Deposit: A $1,250 deposit and $500 International service fee is needed in order to process the I-20 and complete the admission process.
Step 6
Preparation prior to arrival after I-20 has been approved: Purchase a Laptop through our school's vendor, CDW-G.
Step 7
Upon arrival: Students must take the admissions test for English assessment and provide their immunization record to a Florida Doctor for a school physical. They will receive a Florida Blue Form from their Doctor’s office. If the student intends to participate in athletics, they must complete the FHSAA forms, have the Doctor sign it and bring it in prior to their first day at Sagemont. Uniforms from the school store can be purchased once here. Schedules will be completed and books can be ordered online.
