At The Sagemont School, College Counseling is an important part of the educational experience. Our goal is to help students and families make the right college choice decisions based on their interests and goals. The College Counselor meets and develops a relationship with each student and family, providing practical and emotional support during the college search, application, and decision process.
As a liaison between The Sagemont School and college admissions officers, the College Counselor communicates college admission trends and developments and provides timely information about the admission process. She provides admissions officers with documentation of student records and recommendations for acceptance, as well as advocates for students when appropriate.
