Middle School Student Government
MISSION
The Middle School Student Government’s mission is to provide leadership and service opportunities to all students. Student government will supply a vehicle for students to share ideas on improving our school through support and respect for each other. The students will participate throughout the year in various events and fundraising activities that will serve both our school and surrounding community. In addition, members will be supportive and actively involved in the activities of all Sagemont clubs.
The Middle School Student Government welcomes all middle school students to participate in meetings and activities. Through leadership, respect for one another, and service to each other, we will strengthen our community of learners!
OFFICERS
Officer positions are open to students who meet the following requirements:
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA
- Faculty recommendation
- Met or exceeded the school requirement for community service.
REPRESENTATIVES
(2 Per Grade Level)
Representative positions are open to students who meet the following requirements:
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA
- Faculty recommendation
- Met or exceeded the school requirement for community service.
MEETINGS
Meetings are held every other week from 2:45 - 3:10.
