Our International Student program helps students learn English and prepare for college in the United States. Many international students start with us in 8th grade and continue through 12th grade. By the time they finish, they speak English well and are ready for college. Some of our international students go to top schools like Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and the University of Miami. Sagemont Prep is authorized by the government to enroll international students. We can issue the I-20 Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Students. HomestayWe know being far from home can be hard. That is why we offer Homestay, where international students live with carefully chosen host families. Living with a local family helps students feel supported and learn more about American culture. Host families become a special part of the student’s life while they are at school. Summer Program for International StudentsDuring the summer, our international students can join Camp Sagemont to improve their English and explore American culture. For middle school and high school students who come without family, we offer Homestay through Homestay Florida. We are more than happy to help you with setting up a host family or a hotel stay. How long does the admissions process take from application to decision? We understand that choosing a school is a significant family milestone, and we strive to make our process as responsive and thorough as possible. While timelines can vary based on the time of year, we prioritize a seamless experience to ensure educational continuity. The journey includes a comprehensive review of academic records and an assessment exam, offered year-round, allowing our admissions committee to ensure that Sagemont Prep is the ideal environment for your child’s unique talents. Do siblings of current Sagemont families receive admissions priority? Family is at the heart of the Sagemont Prep experience, and we are always delighted to welcome siblings into our community. We provide admissions priority to siblings of current students to keep families together within our halls. Because we are dedicated to the long-term success of every child, all sibling applicants undergo our standard admissions review to ensure we can fully support their needs and help them reach their highest potential.
