NEW Sagemont Innovation Scholarship (SIS)
The SIS program will recognize students who exemplify the Sagemont Mission statement: The Sagemont School inspires academic excellence through intellectual exploration, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Students are encouraged to take responsible risks and develop a deep understanding of social responsibility as active agents of change.
Eligibility: Current and prospective students who will be in grades 3-12 for the upcoming school year. Please note that while students not currently enrolled at Sagemont are encouraged to apply, receiving the Sagemont Innovation Scholarship is contingent upon enrollment at The Sagemont School for the upcoming school year.
Scholarship Benefits: Students who are named a Sagemont Innovation Scholar will receive a $5,000 scholarship for the upcoming school year, with a possibility of the scholarship renewing year over year assuming the student remains in good standing at the school, the student re-enrolls during priority re-enrollment, and successfully takes part in Sagemont’s Innovation Day in the spring (more details on this event are forthcoming).
Additionally, students who advance to round 2 of the scholarship competition will receive a $1,000 (non-renewable) scholarship in recognition of their achievement. Students who advance to round 3 of the scholarship competition will receive a $2,500 (non-renewable) scholarship in recognition of their achievement.
The scholarship is renewable in each grade division (elementary/middle/high), and students must re-apply once they enter the next age division.
