Through learning, service, and shared moments, students are exploring what it means to be part of our nation’s story. This page captures highlights from these celebrations as they unfold across our schools. Be sure to check back regularly for additional highlights! Sagemont Prep Honors Our Veterans Each year, Sagemont Prep proudly honors the brave men and women who have served our country through our annual Veteran’s Day Celebration, a meaningful tradition that unites our entire school community in gratitude and respect. Students from both our Lower and Upper Campuses play an integral role in the program, using their voices, talents, and presence to recognize the sacrifices made to protect our freedoms. From our Synergy singers performing the National Anthem to the steady cadence of our drumline, our Lions lead the way in paying tribute. A student tribute remains at the heart of the ceremony, as students stand with confidence and respect to express their appreciation and reflect on the meaning of service. At Sagemont Prep, moments like this connect our students to something greater than themselves. Our Veteran’s Day Celebration serves as a reminder that freedom carries responsibility, and that gratitude is best expressed through action, respect, and a commitment to community. Lions Lead the Pledge at City Commission Meeting National Elementary Honor Society students had the honor of participating in the City of Weston Commission “I Led the Pledge” program, representing Sagemont Prep at a City Commission meeting. Selected students led the Pledge of Allegiance alongside the Mayor and City Commissioners, demonstrating professionalism and a strong sense of civic responsibility. This opportunity allowed our students to engage directly with local leadership and gain a deeper understanding of how municipal government serves the community. Standing before city officials and residents, they exemplified the scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship that define the National Elementary Honor Society and the values we cultivate at Sagemont Prep. Happy National Anthem Day Sagemont Upper School students marked National Anthem Day with a moving performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Experiences like this highlight our dedication to fostering character, strengthening civic understanding, and developing student leaders. As we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, we’re proud to offer moments that inspire patriotism.
